I happened on a sealed copy of my favorite Etta James album (Deep In The Night) for a beyond-decent price, and you can bet that thing made its way to the turntable within five minutes of unboxing.
I appreciate the overall sentiment in this thread. If this was an unopened video game people would be telling me to put that shit in a plastic tomb and get it rated by WATA so it could go on sale for $10,000.
Why did you purchase the album? If you purchased as a collector and value the fact that it’s sealed then leave it be. If you purchase it to listen to then you should open it up and spin it.
