Murray St and Sonic Nurse are two of their best albums.

Even NYC Ghosts has grown on me vastly since it came out. Weird album, but enjoyable if you are open to it.

@MadLucas IMO, there NYCG&F has a couple good tracks, but it’s been a long time since I’ve listened. Maybe it’s time I revisited. All I really remember is liiiiiigghtneeeeeeeeeeng

people love Murray Street, and so do I, but for me, Karen Revisited drags, but I do love everything else on it. Rain On Tin is just sublime! I prefer Sonic Nurse (hence my user name), but i know I’m in the minority.

I was in the same boat as you a couple years ago, and had that discussion here somewhere. I had a huge post-Washing Machine blind spot at the time. I quickly became obsessed with both Murray St, and A Thousand Leaves though. The rest is great too.

I need to revisit ‘the Eternal’ I wasn’t stoked on it when it came out and didn’t really give it much of a chance. Rather ripped is pretty solid.
