should I make one? I never really use twitter even though I'm on it. I think you're already following my lack of content creation on there, lol.

LOL! @Turbo you do you. I rarely post on Twitter, I use it more for a news & interest feed than anything else. I just want to have somewhere to go once Elon has completely destroyed Twitter for occasional musings. If you join I would follow ya. If not that is alright too.

I was just pondering aloud to be honest. I learned about Mastodon this morning. Probably a good idea to move to something else just in case. I mean, Twitter is looking like it's a flaming dumpster fire.

I haven't had any social media accounts for 5 or 6 years now, but I wouldn't be opposed to using a new social network if it's a good one. May need to look into this one.

In other good news, the work social media filters have not yet blocked Mastodon...

Unless Twitter.com 404s no other social network that is trying to do the same thing will ever rival them. I despise Elon Musk and I hope he loses all his money and all his ideas fail, but I don't see Mastodon being the same thing, unfortunately.

@wokeupnew that is fine. Twitter is far from perfect. Maybe it will become something better or maybe it will fall by the wayside like other social media sites, point being I am happy to try to find a better alternative and up until Elon took over I was cool with my complacency.

Twitter? Shit canned that thing years ago. I am all in for MySpace now

@jamieanderson1968 I hated MySpace way more. I dont have to follow every dumb ass I went to high school with on Twitter.

@TenderLovingKiller® the only people clogging my Facebook feed right now are the divorced moms from my high school graduating class. MySapce would be somewhat of a welcome reprieve.

@folsom_lives My Space is the main reason I never signed up for Facebook to begin with.
