Paintings selling for over $100 million while the planet starves and dies sounds more like the dark ages to me. Plus the art is behind so much protective glass it will be fine

People are starving so let me waste some food seems like a dumb protest to me…. Idk.

I suppose when people have tried everything else they can think of, they lash out. Doesn't make it smart or appropriate, but then again history shows that often times acts of stupidity and violence are pretty common to humans.
