Nice job on article. I understand that many folks passionate about Death Grips. I feel that their fan base is a bit insular within the scope of this bands influence. I think people that really love this band get on the internet and talk with others that really love this band and convince themselves that they are really influential and important.

I do not feel that Death Grips had any influence on Kanye’s Yeezus in particular. Beside both artists making abrasive experimental style rap music neither sounds particularly similar. Also, Kanye has been very open about influences on that album and never cited Death Grips as inspiration.
