I actually prefer to go to shows alone. You can stand wherever you want, get there when you want, and leave whenever you want.

@tvham has it right. I also wouldn't want a friend talking through the concert, especially during quieter moments of the music.

Solo show go is best! No talky companion.

Don't know how to make it less weird, but I'm definitely on team solo show - most of my favourites I've been alone for and far too often I get annoyed when attending shows with friends who don't realize I don't want to talk to them much, or at all, while the show is happening.

Team solo too! You'll regret not seeing them.

DEFINITELY go see gorillaz. They are super fun live. I didn’t see them in NY one year because I didn’t want to go alone and then they didn’t tour for years and I regretted it.

I don’t usually go to shows alone but I am considering going to a couple shows coming up solo. I am not sure how to make it less weird tho.

What is weird about it for you? If you can pinpoint that, you can probably figure out how to deal with it
