I want Lulu but not CD.

Lulu. That is tough for me to say because I love Lou Reed. CD isn't the worst, it was never gonna meet the 20+ years worth of expectations but if had been released in like 1996, It would have been long forgotten by now but after being derided and used for a punch line for multiple decades prior to it being release, It was always gonna disappoint.

Axl woulda been better off scrapping the release and then leaking a unofficial version online and let the mythology of the album to evolve into something less embarrassing.

Chinese Democracy. They both suck, but Lulu has artistic integrity. Metallica knew they were going to get excoriated for it and they did it anyway. Axl's 20 year thing is bullshit. It was barely tolerable when MBV did it, but loveless is a masterpiece. CD is trash.
