Big spike in car prices and post-COVID driving being kinda nutty plays into it too...but shop it around. Progressive, Metlife, etc. Might be worth contacting na agent.

I would recommend giving your Agent a call. State Farm rarely does things “just because”.

Try an independent agent as well. They will have options from companies that don't do direct-to-consumer.

Insurance premiums have gone up a huge amount. I’m somehow paying almost twice as much as I was before the pandemic.

I had Geico for the longest time and they were great and cheap. But then I got a new car and their quote was crazy high, so I moved to Progressive. No problems so far.

State Farm also majorly shafted home policy owners here in SE LA after Ida. They were finding any reason to not pay and when they did pay, they gave some of the lowest payouts.

I have progressive, and they haven't really increased our rates.

I'm on progressive too. It's literally half the price of anyone else I've gotten quotes from. But it's still more than I'd like to pay for having clean driving records.

I have Erie through a local insurance agent. Never had an issue and the premiums are better than the State Farm and Allstates of the world.
