What absurd/awesome thing did you spend too much money on today?

Have you ever thought about taking up golf as a hobby or perhaps buying a boat? Those are good ways to blow money fast.

I actually just bought some clothes. Responsible.

My dad once offered to sell me his briefly owned, money pit 30 ft cabin cruiser for $2, I declined even though I very much wanted it.

My neighbors bought a an old 1940s wooden motorboat for like a $1,000 bucks then preceded to dump about $10k in it to make it seaworthy. They worked on it every summer for the 4 years we were neighbors. Don’t know if it ever made it to the water but it was a sexy boat.

After buying a subwoofer to make myself feel better about my WFH ending tomorrow, and having to return to the Temple of Doom on Monday, I endorse such behaviour.
