I started feeling better the day after I tested positive and really don't have any symptoms now. I e-mailed my doctor the day of my positive test (last Saturday) and still haven't heard anything back about what I should do. The way I'm reading the CDC guidance is that you isolate for 5 days from the start of your symptoms or from the positive test if you're asymptomatic.

But it seems odd to not isolate at all because my positive test was more than 5 days after symptoms started. Then again, it's not like I can just take another test since the CDC also says you're likely to test positive for 90 days after contracting covid.

@CAPacelli right,: "If you had COVID-19 and had symptoms, isolate for at least 5 days. To calculate your 5-day isolation period, day 0 is your first day of symptoms. Day 1 is the first full day after your symptoms developed. You can leave isolation after 5 full days." But my symptoms started 6 days before I tested
