Harder to get a CD player than a turntable. Unless you're buying old DVD players at the thrift store.

I remember taking a tour of the local radio station (WPRK/WJEZ) back in kindergarten and the DJ explaining that CDs were the future…that woulda been like 1986 or 1987.

I remember my high school chemistry teacher circa 1987 telling me that CDs would someday be obsolete, that music would be on computer files. I thought he was batshit crazy.

Just got one for free over the weekend. Nice for a second system.

CDs are cool, too.
