many years ago, same, never looked back. Get a cheap Roku box 25-30 and some free tv on Plutotv (vintage Doctor Who & brit tv channels) and rokutv channels.

Join together with 2 or 3 family/friends and split YouTube TV.

@JohnnyCashFan - we have a smart TV and already pay for Netflix and Apple, so it just got crazy with the monthly expenses.
@Crenshaw Blvd - I'll have to look into what Youtube TV has to offer...you have it/like it?

I do like it...for the price when I share it with friends/family. It has local channels and a nice variety of sports/entertainment.

We share Netflix & Disney+ with family members. Roku gives us free Plutotv, free rokutv, amazon prime (comes with our prime membership), and idmb. Indoor antenna gets us 20 local stations. We have over 300 Dvd's/BR. Cost about $25mo. total, Peacock Tv free is next to try.
