Well, “Skirt Vile” is the name of my all girl Kurt Vile cover band.

Also, you may technically already have some KV in your collection if you own War On Drugs debut Wagonwheel Blues.

Yeah, this was what made me think I should check him out. I think I did some checking out way back in the old place days but it didn’t stick or whatever. His connection to WOD has rekindled a cursory interest.

He can shred though. I saw him open for Wilco awhile back.

I thought KV was pretty okay until Bottle It In came out, and that's when everything sort of retroactively clicked in for me.
