@highqualityrecords Not telling you what to do but you can do it the way I digitally listen to music that's not on spotify - you can put digital files on your computer import locally. Put them on a playlist. And all your devices that you use spotify on - download that playlist on that device while you're on the same network as your main computer.
@Joe Mac is there an alternative you recommend? As far as I am aware, no current streaming service pays enough to their artists. Apple Music and Spotify both host alt-right podcasters, sexual-assaulters, and other morally reprehensible people.
You’re right. They’re all shit. But both Tidal and Qobuz pay a sizeably larger pitance than the two you mentioned.
The react is more at “it’s been blown out of proportion” tbf. It hasn’t. There’s also a world of difference between hosting and paying $100m to have exclusive rights to it as a headline product.
@Joe Mac
I agree that purchasing exclusive rights is completely different to hosting. Engaging and forming a dialogue is the only way to stop the media from continuing to control the narrative, from both sides. I don’t care what happens to Joe or Spotify, but there is a lot of misinformation in the media and its going unchecked, and has been for a long time, again on both sides, right and left. 2/2
@Joe Mac thanks for the heads up, I may switch to one of those if using Youtube Premium gets exhausting, but honestly I think I am done with streaming. I spend way too much on physical media
