Last time I saw Dinosaur Jr was in Northampton, MA (hometown show) in an abandoned warehouse with no heat and no lights in the absolute dead of winter. The air was so cold and still and crisp every note shattered it like glass. The audience was perfectly still and dead silent the entire time, like penguins huddled together against the primal onslaught of an unstoppable blizzard. Absolutely incredible show.
