Unfortunately I bet they're banking this whole thing is going to blow over pretty quickly. Unless someone like Adele or Taylor Swift has their music removed and makes a statement I don't know how much more momentum this will get.

I really want to switch to a different platform now. Best would be Apple Music for me, but because I still use a windows PC as my main machine, it remains a pain in the ass. There's no apple music Windows desktop app is there? There's no integration with itunes right?

I think you can still download iTunes for windows and stream from that.

Not sure about an Apple Music desktop app — I use YouTube Music for streaming — but I think it integrates with iTunes somehow. I've been using iTunes again to manage my digital library.

I do have itunes for Windows and use it to manage my collection of files. Mostly because I'm invested with the iphone. I was digging through it today and couldn't quite figure out how Apple Music integrates into it.

I think there is a tab you might have to open the settings to unhide it. I used to have it hidden in Apple Music but they don’t allow users to hide it anymore because they suck.

I think that's my problem. There are these "for you" and "browse" tabs I don't see in my itunes, maybe because I hid all the Apple Music stuff on my account through my phone? I can't unhide them though. I've been digging around for an answer over the last hour or so.

EDIT: found it. first damn checkmark in preferences. LOL.
