Whoah, I love KMRU, and didn't realize he was part of a tour. Despite the +1,000 shows I've been to I've never seen an ambient artist perform - have you? Worth it?

@blenoxsmith I've been to some experimental noise shows that were wildly fun. I've never been to an ambient artist performance but I would guess that it would be about the feel of the music--the way it vibrates you in the space--would be a cool experience.

@nolalady that sounds about right. I've been to a bunch of electronic shows, but they are usually more upbeat (like Com Truise, Nosaj Thing). In addition to the sound itself, those shows were accompanied by amazing light shows, which helps a lot when it's just a person behind synths. Ambient is perfect for visuals.
