My husband asked me a similar question, what my take on NFTs is as an artist, and I think it's nothing more than a cash grab.

I have a friend who has sold NFTs of his work. He sent every purchaser a really nice print of the work to go along with it

I suppose as a new / young artist, it can garner you some attention. But being an old-head, I don't understand the appeal at all.

1/2: It's a new space and the wild west for sure. But for music there are a few avenues for it. I like what Avenged Sevenfold is doing with their's. They have been heavily in the space and are looking to do exactly what Eno said.

2/2: They're using their nft's as their fan club membership. They all include perks such as a vip entrance at concerts, seperate merch line/discounts at shows, special channel in the discord where the band hangs out, giveaways, etc.
