At least you’re not going through all the hassle just to move into a shit hole apartment like I just did, especially considering the cost of rent will likely mean I will never be able to afford a house.

This will also be the third time we've moved in the last four years so I'm not looking forward to that. We're supposed to get the keys on Christmas Eve but the sellers are requesting one extra month to move out so we may not move in until around my birthday (January 24th). And once it's official we need to go shopping for appliances (fridge, washer/dryer). It's a lot but it will definitely be worth it.
