What did you switch to? Did you sell the maggie's?

No keeping the Maggie’s, I have a pair of Elac Debut 2 5.2f I believe (have actually had them for a couple years long enough to forget haha). The only other speakers I’ve owned were some inexpensive Dayton “floorstanders”. My old room was a rectangle with kallax on either side my bed on one side tv behind and unevenly spaced from side walls, I had the elacs dialed in there.

@Mather I don’t recall how much of my previous Maggie conversation you were a part of but they sounded the same basically in my old room.

Yeah I saw the suggestions that the rear firing audio was probably bouncing off the corner wall and amplifying the vocals.

I’m thinking about purchasing some 25 foot BJC speaker cables and trying them out in front of all my kallax as that’s the only place they would both have a corner and could be an equal distance between both side walls

Did you ever try swapping the Maggies to rule out some issue with an individual speaker?
