Go for it. We promise not too laugh (much). Like @ThePakoBuelna said, if it is something people are looking for and not easily found online they shipping is almost an afterthought.
Have you ever shipped something? Are you sure the warped records that were sent to you and were magically straightened by the warp field in your house won’t revert back to their original warpage?
How does quantity affect shipping? Does the price go up a lot between, say, one and four records? Is there a point where paying a high shipping cost isn't that bad 'cause it's a larger purchase?
@Perforated Baby Salve I know from experience there isn't much of a difference between a single record and the weight of two doubles, but I don't know where the cut-off lies.
Okay thanks y'all, I'll get a list going and post. @Perforated Baby Salve yeah in terms of amount there's no real sweet spot. I think it jumps up over like 4 lbs but the rules have changed a few times and even that might now be out of date. Can usually do a couple of 2 LPs for like $28 CAD ish? But it's been a long time since I've sent more than just PIF amounts of one or two singles.
But either way that's a shipping calculator that I can use that gets a pretty close estimate, and obviously it's cheaper for you guys due to the exchange.
@Mather you can sign up for a small business account with Canada Post. It saves about a buck a shipment. I have been using it for several years and had no problems. I ship so little out that the CRA would probably not notice, plus most are actually PIFs.
