something similar happened with me one time. I sold a record but then the next day the buyer messaged asking if I could cancel the order. I said 'no problem.' A week later I notice people are listing it for much higher than I had sold it for. I changed my price to a higher rate and sold it for $25 more than I was going to with that original buyer.
Dude for real. I've had this happen more times than I can count. Also getting reasonable offers rejected and then the seller jacks the price right after. Discogs marketplace is becoming a cesspool
Yeah I was already skeptical of the seller because it's by FAR the most expensive item in his collection. And any time I see a seller with mostly cheap stuff and then one home run I worry that this person in probably not overly concerned with keeping things in good shape. NM is likely not actually going to be NM.
