At work the other night people were comparing stories of famous people they'd met, it was the usual sort of brief brushes with greatness stuff. Then our PA sheepishly says "Oh I don't really have any... I mean, well my aunt was married to Gordon Lightfoot for 26 years and, you know, we spent all our Christmases at his mansion. But like, that's it really."

He won the famous person contest.

ha, that's awesome. Just a couple decades of Christmases with Uncle Gordie, that's all.

He played for them at every one of them too. And at his cottage. No big whoop.

The collective pause and then "The FUCK?" elicited from the crew moments after he said this was classic.

That's like, a Top Ten Christmas for most people.
