Have a good turkey coma ! Looks like a warm one up there this year ?

We deviated from tradition and roasted a local chicken instead of a turkey yesterday.

It is unusually warm this season, we got to swim at my BIL's yesterday

Wait....No Canadian Pifsgiving ?

Little know fact President Roosevelt moved American Thanksgiving a week back in 1939-41in hopes it would help the economy in the great depression. There was much uproar and protest and he realized it was mistake and moved it back to last week in November that President Lincoln had declared a holiday. Meanwhile today is Columbus Day here.
