This guy posted a WTB ad for the VMP Immortal Otis Redding- wanted to pay $35 shipped for a new copy. He had a DC link so he new how much it went for. Guy bumps his post like a dozen times. I finally replied with a LOL emoji. BANNED

Seems weird that you were banned. That being said, I generally think it's a dick move to sell records for far more than you paid for them, so I can relate to the OP you were laughing at (I recognize this is a very unpopular take).

@bettim84 yeah my side sounds cynical- I lol'd bc of how many times he bumped it. Like, ok you tried but cmon no one is biting. I mean $35 SHIPPED isnt just not flipping, it's less than it would have cost a VMP to get it new

For me, Intent is big. If I buy something w/ the intent to keep it & then decide it no longer fits my collection & going rate is 3x what I paid and I ask that - what's the issue? If I buy something that I know will be scarce & resell for stupid amounts w/ the direct intent of doing just that - then that is predatory. In the end, though, I don't hate the playa. And yes, SHF, has a bunch of thin-skins.
