Facebook as a company can pretty much just go away

Agreed, I have enjoyed my sabbatical from instagram, I may indefinitely abstain from usage. My phone says I spend way too much time on that one single app. It’s honestly fucked up my brain a bit.

I don’t mind IG. FB could jog on.

Facebook is an incredibly valuable resource to to many chronically ill and other disabled communities. People can find not only commiseration and emotional support, but access to specialists and information not often available in the average local community. It's more than just MAGA aunts and uncles and highschool acquaintances selling pyramid schemes.

@GritNGlitter 100%! I don't use FB - or really any SM besides this place, if it counts - but FB, etc. aren't the problem. WE ARE. The way we use these things are extensions of are own shortcomings.

@Too Many Diaper Babies but FB is the problem too.
