I started almost, almost substituting vinyl addiction to sneaker addiction. But that was short lived. If there’s ever some super limited version, it’s impossible to get. Impossible. No more.
@Bennnnn When I started buying sneakers in 2013, I could get anything I wanted provide I wake up on time. 2017, I could get most things. Now? I can't get anything, so I don't even try. It's becoming a hobby for celebrities and influencers and thats it.
Yeezy day was a bust for me... luckily my brother got me a pair of Wave Runners. But trying to get anything on SNKRS or Confirmed is always a waste of time.
Yeah I keep half an eye on things and try to grab the occasional style in store. But I don't bother with any pre sales or nonsense like that. It's too crazy.
If I see something nice and it's not an expensive, limited drop or something, I'll grab it. But I just can't deal with how things have been rolling out and how it definitely favors the rich and influential.
