My quality of life drastically improved when I transitioned to 32 hours per week at my main job. Working four 8-hour days and having a free business day to run errands and, you know, DO THE FUN STUFF is a huge deal. I'll probably be switching to working five 6.5-hour days starting this fall because my kid is starting school, which won't be as great but I guess I can't complain.

@bettim84 definitely! I feel that I lose motivation and take longer breaks throughout the day just to get to 8 hours. I’d rather just fit as much work into 6 hours only. I don’t think productivity would decline. I know there was a recent study in Iceland that proved the same.
