Championship Vinyl- it's located in a part of the city that attracts the bare minimum of window shoppers

World class city. Visit The Field Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago, on your way to AIC you can stroll through Millennium Park and take some photos with the Bean then head just up the road to Navy Pier. Have some Chicago Style Pizza at Gino’s East and add your name to the wall. Get yourself some Al’s Beef, Harold’s Chicken Shack, and a Chicago Dog from The Weiners Circle.

Lots of options for sure and @TenderLovingKiller® put together some great things to do. Do you know where you are staying?

If you like to dig, love Dusty Grooves when in Chicago pre cv. Reckless is OK. The Shedd Aquarium is world class. If your a fan of Ferris Buellers Day Off a visit to Wrigley or Wrigleyville and the Sears Tower. Ray Manzaredk use to go to Al's Beef when he was kid with his father.

Art Institute and Shedd are my two preferred museums. Prefer Lou's for deep dish but hard to go too wrong. If the Cubs are playing, Wrigley is an experience

The architectural boat cruise was really great and I'd recommend it. Field Museum, too. When we were there in 2017, our favourite thing was mostly walking up and down the riverwalk, stopping at a patio or whatever. And we got really lucky that the Blue Jays were in town at Wrigley as well. Beautiful city.

@trickyseven We're not sure yet. Looking at either hotels or AirBnb. It will be my wife and my sister-in-law as well so we might do better with a two bedroom apartment.

@Bohnjaggs Cool. When you get that sorted, feel free to DM me, I can give some more specific recommendations around where you are staying. Definitely do an architectural boat cruise. If it's at all cool that day, you might want to bring a jacket, the river acts as a giant wind tunnel. For records in addition to Reckless and Dusty Grooves, I like Laurie's Planet of Sound or Interstellar Space.

Don Pedro Carnitas in Pilsen. Buy carnitas by the pound and build your own tacos at the bar.
Vito & Nicks - Ashburn hood. The best thin cracker style crust in my opinion.
JP Grazianos - Best subs and giardiniera in the world. West loop.
Cheeseburger at Au Chevel. West loop.
Metropolitan Brewery. North side. Nice spot on the river.
Dusty Groove for record shops.

too tired to use my brain right now, but will weigh in on the pizza- unless you *really* need to try traditional Chicago deep dish, my fave Chi pie is Pequod's! Chicago Pizza and & Oven Grinder has these wild pop-overs that are amazing and like a personal deep dish.

Yeah, Pequod’s is great. I love that burnt ring of cheese around the crust.

If it works out, it would also be a fun night to have dinner at Duseks and catch a little music at Thalia Hall
