I don't work in an office but I definitely wouldn't see the appeal of going back in-person if I did. For exactly those reasons. Hell, I don't even want to go back to using the meeting room for strata council (condo board) meetings!

That's crazy to me. I don't know a single person who wants to go back, at least more than once a week or so.

I had a bunch of people at my now previous job who had this mindset of “people who work from home like to be lazy.” Confused me to no end. Glad I’ll now be working in a hybrid setting instead of full on-site

I feel ya, same here on Monday. Not looking forward to it. Liked being able to hang with the wife and kid in down times. Also adding two hours of Los Angeles commuting back into my days, no effin' bueno. I'm still fighting for a hybrid situation when/if available. We shall see.

I can do 99% of what I need to do right now with my current set up and that's what I've been doing for the past 15 months. There's no reason for me to have to come back other than "That's how it used to be."
