When are you headed there? I'll be in East Glacier in August. Newbie also.

I’m in Great Falls, about 3 1/2 hrs south east of Whitefish, and I’ve only been there twice. However, I can say that Glacier is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Lots of gorgeous hikes, and definitely drive the Going-To-The-Sun Road.

We got our passes for the Going to the Sun Road a couple weeks ago...apparently the week-long passes are selling out six weeks ahead of time. I was thinking this would be a quiet and remote trip, but it doesn't seem that way. Still totally looking forward to it.
