Sparta was the better band that came out of At The Drive In.

Not a fan of The Mars Volta either.

I'm in this camp and i missed out on some of the good swaps available earlier. Not even sure what to swap for now. This is fitting since my grandfathered sub ends in Sept and then I'm totally done with VMP

Idk why I always thought they were like an IDM band. Listening now, I find that they're in the same genre as Coheed and Cambria and Dream Theater (Otherwise kick ass instrumentals made unlistenable by the vocalist).

@Hollywood never gone the credit route. So, I'd get the value of a single month at my grandfathered rate, is that how it works? I think that would be $25. Good call, i could put that towards Darkside's Spiral, which I haven't preordered anywhere, and I'm sure I'll want it

@Twentytwo @TenderLovingKiller® I got so much shit for this opinion back in the day, but I'll still crank Sparta regularly and despite trying for years with Mars Volta it still doesn't hit for me. The irony is that I've had tickets to see Sparta twice and they canceled both shows, and I've seen Mars Volta twice just cause they happened to be playing at a festival.

Haha, I did the same thing last night. To top it off, in my mind this was Jared Leto’s band, so I was surprised with what I heard. Then I realized I didn’t know what that band sounded like either, so I checked it out too, and had the same exact reaction. Nope.

I’m swapping for credit for the first time and grabbing Bill Withers & OutKast next month.
