Dude has a massive discography, besides his two most popular records "Zombie" and "Expensive Shit" the general consensus is that it's all good, if a little hard to get into.

Those curated box sets from the likes of Questlove, Erykah Badu, etc were a collection of that artists favorite Fela records, and meant to be a sort of gateway into his wider discography. They made several and I dont think they'll ever be reprinted.

There's a lot of great stuff. If you're just starting then I think Zombie is his best (well, my favourite). Others from the top drawer include Expensive Shit, Gentleman, Roforofo Fight, Shakara. But any from that mid-ish 70s period is just ace. Sadly, I don't think any of the boxes are being re-released - I'm just missing the first one and am resigned to not getting it.

Zombie and Expensive Shit are the ones I know and like. Also really enjoyed yellow fever. Sounds like to continue down that 70s period

The Live! album with Ginger Baker is my favourite. I would also recommend Zombie, Gentleman, and Expensive Shit in that order.
