At this point, I don't think there's much choice but to implement everything they can and hope each thing contributes. It's incredibly bad here, but Ontario is on fire right now. They need to flatten and let the vaccination campaign do its thing.... Honestly, what I'm most afraid right now is that we're creating perfect conditions to generate a new super variant....
Not sure what is coming tomorrow other than a possible full closure of everything but grocery stores and pharmacies. Thankfully I did an LCBO run the other day.
He could stop deflecting blame onto the opposition (somehow, I'm not sure how he accomplished this) and send vaccines to actual hot spots instead of Conservative ridings, for two. Sadly, neither will happen.
@jamieanderson1968 I don't know about you guys, but if there's one thing that was always "essential" and opened here, despite any other possible measure implemented, it was the liquor stores (and pot shops). Priorities and all that. I guess it keeps most people calm when stuck at home with a curfew.
@BjorgenFjorgen Agreed on making the hotspots a priority not to mention all the front line workers, instead of vaccinating all the people who work from home.
