Ah, I think of his death as April 5. But a friend at my highschool killed himself April 4, so Cobain's death hit different a few days later than it did most other places.

I think of Kurdt’s death as April 5th. Regardless, it’s always better to celebrate Nirvana than Empire Records, that movie is super overrated (and I Stan for Clueless, Ten Things I Hate About You, and Bring It On).

Empire records is a fun movie with a good soundtrack that really spoke to girls who were a cross between Liv Tyler's character and Robin Tunney's character when it came out. Not that I speak from experience
