At least this time it looks like big box stores will be limited to groceries and pharamcies only, just took 3 tries to get this right. I love that libraries will probably be specifically mentioned again to be open (for pickup service) but we are not considered essential workers. The CBC had an interesting report online this morning showing the disparity on vaccinations between different postal codes.
@jamieanderson1968 Yeah, here it's demoralizing to see the disparities. Rich retirees who don't have to go anywhere getting vaccines before essential or education workers forced to go in to hotspots is insane.
@BjorgenFjorgen from the cbc "St. Clair and Rosedale area about 22.4 per cent of eligible adults have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine...
Compare that to the Jane and Finch area, where only 5.5 per cent of eligible adults have gotten their first shot, despite having a rate of hospitalizations and deaths from the illness more than eight times that of St. Clair and Rosedale"
Yeah, that's the insane part. Literally everybody knows that schools are not safe. How did they get to "3 feet between desks is now fine"? Some boards here are taking it into their own hands and shutting down schools because Lecce won't do shit.
