dynamism in British
If you refer to the dynamism of a situation or system, you are referring to the fact that it is changing in an exciting and dramatic way.
FWIW the VMP version is pretty flat and lifeless too. Sounded clean, just not very dynamic and absolutely no low end.
Probably one I'll stream more than spin.
Well I'm returning it to the store today and exchanging it for one that is apparently "the loser edition but there's no sticker" hmmmm, could it be another rogue VMP edition? But it looks like this was just a bad pressing all around. Discogs is pretty much nothing but complaints about the quality of the press for all variants...
My wife surprised me with a loser edition for FD. It was the European pressing(bright red). Side A played perfectly but side B had these horrendous surface scratches and it was poppy af. Luckily I found a NA pressing(maroon) and it was perfect.
I've got the black vinyl pressing and it honestly sounds all right. It's not spectacular, and surface noise is present, but not distracting. It sounds full, but not as rich as I'd hoped. It's certainly good enough to throw on and enjoy, but it's not something I'll use to demo the system.
@Mather your standards may be higher than mine, though.
