You could sent it my way. Still waiting for it to be cold enough to get snow instead of rain when a big storm moves through this year.

Sorry I left the back door open and it got out. Hope it didn't make too much of a mess.

People who live with winter infrastructure have no idea.

this weather can go on n git! and yes @GritNGlitter- I just commented elsewhere that its not the cold that's causing panic down south, it's the lack of infrastructure, equipment, and familiarity for dealing with the cold.

I mean, I don't jab the north for deadly heat waves that hit 90F just cause I'm used to some sun. it's rough.

@bfly... we know, we know. We think it's (kinda) humorous since it's basically routine out here - and when I say humorous, I'm obviously hoping everyone stays safe. Also, you're correct: I'm essentially a snowman and I melt at 90F. I was in Texas in june before... I think our saunas are colder. That outdoor pool/river park in Austin was very refreshing though.

What kills me most are folks who drive on salted, plowed roads all winter and think it's a skill. 🙄

@Turbo I know, it can sound silly when y'all deal with weather for half the year, but San Antonio, Texas is going to get colder than Anchorage, Alaska tonight and millions of people haven't had power/heat in 15+ hours. many have frozen pipes/no water since they aren't insulated and we don't have basements. the majority of homes don't have fireplaces.

hell, I removed my gas heater 4 years ago and it's not been a problem til this weekend. 😄 so ignore me, I'm just cold, my blood wasn't ready for this, and I really want a pizza.

@bfly... frozen pipes are serious. I guess they're not insulated in warmer places... never thought of that! (most of us don't have fireplaces though)
@GritNGlitter... the key is winter tires even on plowed and salted roads. All-seasons don't cut it if there's any significant snow or ice.
