I’ve had others reach out to me before about some of my Radiohead stuff ...I’ve just ignored them 😂

Yeah, I get unsolicited requests a lot too. I suppose there’s nothing that would prevent you from just selling it in a private transaction.

If it was me, I’m doing it private with PayPal G&S. Basically the only added incentive on Discogs is you can leave and get feedback. Not worth the fee to me!

Based on the messages I get I think people spam everyone with the thing in their collection hoping to get a bite. Never tried to follow through on it.

What @scotthilk said. Make sure you use G&S option though so you get covered if something goes wrong.

I dunno, I feel like we are in the golden era of internet transaction scams, so always skeptical about this type of stuff. However, as long as it's done through PayPal G&S I don't see why you couldn't do it privately. I had someone reach out about some obscure 10" before, but the highest recorded price on 'cogs was $22, so scam or not I don't think it was worth the energy.

This guy wants to buy a Parquet Courts 7" single that I have. There are currently none for sale, and it's gone for as high as $32. He said he's had a hard time finding it. I guess the next step would maybe be seeing how much he'd be willing to pay for it.

The time(s) I have been scammed on Discogs, PayPal was the one to rectify it - not Discogs.

Yeah, that’s what I mean - not in a bad way, just playing the numbers. I think people do that when items either aren’t up or the prices are well-above-stupid.
