i recommend immersion drippers, best of both worlds

I just switched from french press to chemex. I find that I've had to make my grind a little finer to get the flavor I want so you might want to try something a little more coarse than you're used to

Echoing @BazookaTooth on the immersion dripper. I have had the BonaVita for several years and it is my main method of making coffee. Not ideal if you need a lot of coffee at one time but for single cup it is quick and easy.

Lol but I just bought the press. I need to commit for at least 3 months before moving on. The switch was so I could make enough for my morning cup as well as a cup to take to work in a travel mug. All at once.

i have the Hario Switch and the Clever Dripper. its super simple and consistent plus you have the advantage of the filter.

@dirty hands that's why I started with the french press and moved to a 6 cup chemex instead of a more traditional pour-over. Need that first cup plus being able to fill my zojirushi thermos. You'll find a sweet spot with the press, just experiment.

Frankly loving my chemex though, but we'll see how much the cost of filters start to hurt. Haven't gotten rid of my press yet.
