This is terrible. I have been involved with supervisors telling their version of the truth to cover their ass and make me look bad too many times.

I have damn near been fired for something similar. My boss even told me he was getting a divorce and I need to manage myself. When he got queried about me and couldn't answer he turned it into me not being accountable. I nearly quit but the job is pretty great so I continue knowing he's a snake.

As I can see, this type of behavior is not uncommon lol.
I will be fine. This is a hard but necessary lesson to learn; don’t trust anyone and keep your mouth relatively shut.

@scotthilk definitely! Have a bunch of plans and goals for the next few months. I hope to move from Seattle by April back to the midwest to be closer to family and to have space for all these records that don’t fit in my apartment
