Anyone who posted above - would love to know what sub genre the album is if it isn’t traditional XMas music. Mine are blues, punk, and Tex/Americana/Indie rock.

Mine are choral versions of Calypso Christmas standards and Intricately arranged space age pop respectively.

This isn't from A Christmas record but is a traditional Christmas song reworked as an Appalachian death shack traditional.

It's kinda terrifying, yet I'm completely mesmerized by it.

Does everyone know Harmony is Real by The Living Sisters? I post it every year, but it's charming.

The XFM Christmas album from 20 years ago is a great compilation of indie originals and covers - Belle & Sebastian, Eels, Grandaddy, etc. Worth a look.
