I don't think you can as there is no output other than to another set of speakers. Whats your setup?

Very simple setup, just a turntable, pre-amp and the A5s.

Yes that should work (probably not this model though)

What you want is something that has inputs for the pre-amp and then outputs for the speaker. I think the D1 is more made for a computer running just as a headphone amp.

what you want is a headphone amp with speaker output

maybe need @Joe Mac to weigh in. I think you could use a Schiit Audio Magni

It has a headphone jack on the front in the picture. Just connect to that. Or am I missing something ?
McGlam

On the A5+ speakers, there is no headphone jack. The dac McGlam linked to looks like s set up for listening to audio from a computer

Oh sorry its a totally diferent product to the one linked to? Weird!

So what I would do is the schitt magni. Turntable to schitt, then schitt to speaker input. Use the headphone input on the front to play through them. Use the schitt as the preamp for everything with the speakers at a static volume.

Always call a professional. That is mine friends setup, just different speakers.

@Joe Mac so basically take my preamp out of the equation?
Joe Mac

By preamp do you mean a phono stage or a preamp that controls inputs and system volume?
McGlam

I think phono stage. Its a project preamp, there are no adjustable controls on it i don’t think.

It stays. Table to it to schiit to speakers/headphones. Phono stage brings low output from a cart up to line level so you to don’t want to take it it out.
