Ah man, I'm sorry. This happened to my partner right around the time I met her seven years ago and it still gives her issues from time to time. Definitely see an eye doctor.

Oof, sorry to hear that. 3 days sounds right - I had PRK corrective eye surgery which basically involves full removal of the top layer of each cornea. Recovery involved staying a dark room for 3 days while my eyes were on fire - but the 13+ years now of no glasses/contacts has been worth it! Eye issues are no joke though, so having an eye doc check it out seems like a good idea if you can swing it.
