I just got my copy and that's not the news I wanted to hear...

Still waiting too. This is a band whose sound deserves a good pressing. There's so many layers to hear.

The pressing is good so far. No pops, warped of course but what isn't... But yeah it's pretty digital sounding to me. But I'm only a couple of tracks in.

Are you on a never-ending search for the best sounding vinyl pressing of anything ever like a vinyl collecting Indiana Jones lol

Totally. I want every pressing to be that Golden Idol. Unfortunately more often than not it's a ruse and is closely followed by a giant boulder of crushing disappointment.

Revisiting this status after listening to my copy and I agree. Vocals sound lifeless, drums are dry and hissy, bass sounds dull and boomy. I wanted more from this.

Yeah exactly. Like my pressing is pretty solid but the master is awful.

With how good the remastered reissues of their first 3 are, I'd hoped this one would have the same care... It does not.
