I’m going to always be torn. If I have a copy of any album that I like, I’m not necessarily gonna want to spend audiophile money on another copy. Would a 1Step of Dusty in Memphis blow away my Bellman cut? Most likely, would I spend $125 on it, probably not. Of course, I’ve already lived out this scenario with the Gaye record. There’s very few records that I want to explore in such a way.

Dylan’s Blood in the Tracks, I would love a half speed mastered version to hear what it sounds like as it was recorded. I still want a phase shift stereo version of Sgt Pepper. That’s pretty much the end of the list.
