Dire Straits are like a dog(dad) whistle for anyone under the age of 40. You can't hear it until you're in your 40s.

Dire straits is one of those bands that they’ve played on the Philly rock station for my entire life and still do every day along with AC/DC, Journey, Hall and Oats and a bunch others

@Rahawk2 yea I remember that, but the songs I remember were Money for Nothing and that Baseball song.

Damnit I’ve heard it a million times but never knew sultans of swing was about baseball lol I thought it was about swing music but I never really listened to the lyrics. Our dj here loves playing that song twisting by the pool at least once a summer.

How’s the version that is on acoustic sounds?

I loved the whole album , but I haven’t listened to it since I upgraded my system . It’s a used copy and I didn’t notice or care about the pops and noise when I just had my Ion with the built in speakers.
