Thanks, there's a Sundazed KG QRP 1 LP pressing and then a MOV/Legacy 2 LP pressing... I think your first 2 LPs are the same as the 2 LP Legacy. Though I'm not sure.
I have the RSD box as well. Listened to it a few weeks ago and it sounds really good to me. I dont have anything else to compare it to though so might not be the best judge if you are looking to upgrade or something.
Those are really two different records though. The 2LP is an immersive concert while the OG is like a greatest hits album. I think that should really decide more than the sound quality. 'I've Got a Woman', 'John Henry', and 'Blue Suede Shoes' are particular missing tracks that I love. But I did give the RSD version a spin and agree it sounds great. Some of the vocals were washed, but that's just a bad microphone.
I do feel that, but I really don't think you're going to ever get that from this recording. The bass is solid, the instruments are well separated, but Johnny's mic just sucked :/ Also, IIRC the 1LP has some versions from the Day 2 concert, which might be better. I can spin the Day 2 concert tomorrow if you'd like to hear if there are any differences.
I Walk The Line is the only one confirmed so far (mono 45rpm). SACD and vinyl were announced but the vinyl seems to not have a release date yet. Same thing is happening to TRex - Electric Warrior.
