Is the issue you’re questioning the bass distortion? This might not have anything to do with fixing the issue but I would suggest moving the speakers to a different surface or get some isolation pads/feet. Heavy Bass can cause the needle to jump .

@TenderLovingKiller® is right--speakers + TT on the same surface is a big no-no. Try to put the speakers on another surface if possible or get those pads/feet. Seems to me that the bass is traveling through the speakers and back into the TT/needle
