Seen the price of the box set? Nearly £100!

Yeah and the postage on all the versions is criminal too. I’m waiting for whatever version comes into my local!

Ended up going for the red vinyl from Record Store (signed copies sold out on the bands site) which was a reasonable £18.99 and I found a 10% off code so it was £17.09 plus £3.95 postage which is fairly standard. I’ll not contemplate what postage would likely be to Ireland for the box!

€22 or €10 to my PO Box in the north who charge €4 to bring it down. €8 for just the signed red record or £3.95 + €4 through the north again. Signed would be nice but I’m happy enough buying whichever indie version my local gets, better that they get the custom.

Really unimpressed with the box though, €80 for a picture disc that’s been physically signed and no alternate vinyl to actually play!

I was surprised by the lack of content in the box.

Me too, especially for what they’re charging. If it came with the red, or even a black, pressing on top of the picture disc in there and the dl code was guaranteed for hi res I probably could have justified the €80 but definitely not worth it for what it is!

@Thackeraye sound of vinyl are doing the same 10% for your first order with them. Just need to sign up for their mailing list on the website.

Got it from Sound of Vinyl, who I’ve used before. I would have saved just over a pound, so it’s no big deal.

Looks like there is an indie white variant as well...

Any recs on what album to start with to get into Doves? Never listened to them but I always see their name posted around here...

Their debut lost souls. It’s and the follow up, The Last Broadcast are the two stand outs in their discography for me. If you like them check out Some Cities, Kingdom of Rust and then the new one.
